Juntos

Privacy Policy

Effective 3 September 2026 · Last updated 5 September 2026

Juntos is a casual two-player game published by Ahmed Farouk. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, why, and what your choices are. It applies to the Android app and to the web version at tamreenlab.com/play.

The short version: Juntos has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics services, and no third parties. The only information that ever leaves your device is a game score and a random nickname, and only so the leaderboard can show it.

What the app collects

Recorded automatically by the web server

What the app does not collect

Why we collect it

Solely to operate the online leaderboard. The random identifier lets the server recognise that two scores came from the same device so it can show you your personal best and your rank. The nickname is what appears beside your score. Nothing is used for profiling, advertising, or any other purpose.

Playing the game does not require any of this. Solo play and two-player mode work fully offline; only the leaderboard needs a connection.

Who we share it with

Nobody. Your information is not sold, rented, or shared with any third party. There are no advertising networks, analytics providers, or data brokers involved in Juntos.

Nicknames and scores appearing on the leaderboard are visible to other players. That is the leaderboard's purpose, and those nicknames are randomly generated rather than personal.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Data is stored on our own servers at tamreenlab.com and transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The token that authorises your device to submit scores is stored only as a cryptographic hash, never in a form that could be reused.

Scores are kept while the leaderboard operates so historical rankings remain meaningful. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes and then discarded.

Your choices

Children

Juntos is a simple number puzzle suitable for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. As described above, the app does not collect personal information from anyone. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

All communication between the app and our server uses HTTPS. Device tokens are stored as SHA-256 hashes rather than in their original form, database access is limited to a single scoped account, and credentials are stored outside the public web directory. No system is perfectly secure, but the app holds nothing sensitive: there are no passwords, payment details, or personal information to expose.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
